Description

Disease, hunger, famine and challenges to public health, hinder and prevents already vulnerable communities from sanitation, safe drinking water and improved health. A sustainable water supply can unlock the burden of poverty, create an environment for better health, economic prosperity and greater food security.

Implementing community owned water projects, will help to facilitate these villages and areas to flourish.

Mozambique is home to many rural, impoverished and disadvantaged communities, who are exposed to the harsh realities of contaminated water. They are further burdened in many instances where women and children have to walk extremely long distances to collect water. This inhibits people from working to generate a livelihood, and dramatically reduces children’s time for education.
