Qurbani / Udhiya is the practice of sacrificing an animal for ALLAH (SWT). Muslims around the world sacrifice an animal to mark the completion of Hajj. This event commemorates the willingness of Ibrahim (AS), to sacrifice his beloved son as commanded by ALLAH (SWT).

Every year Omeéd’s Qurbani / Udhiya project distributes meat to those most in need. For most of these communities, it’s the only time that they would be able to consume meat.
